Eric is a leader in McKinsey’s Private Capital Practice and helps lead our business services investor work in the Americas. He is also a key figure within our professional services unit, working closely with global firms and other key market participants.

Eric’s work focuses on strategy and due diligence efforts for global investors and their portfolio companies, where he works closely with businesses across the services landscape. He frequently advises large legal service and technology firms on various strategic matters.

Examples of Eric’s recent client work include:

  • advising multiple investors on commercial due diligence plans for targets across a variety of sectors, in both business service subsegments, such as professional services, human capital management, governance, risk and compliance, and other industries like software and real estate
  • supporting strategy development for portfolio companies across sectors, including assessing the attractiveness and feasibility of opportunities for growth and the potential impact of disruptive technologies such as gen AI
  • advising large professional service firms on strategic, governance, and growth-related topics
  • helping develop governance strategies for several large institutional investors across a variety of key topics, including talent management and incentives, risk, and technology adoption

Before joining McKinsey, Eric was a lawyer at Goodmans LLP in Toronto, where he specialized in M&A and Securities Law.
