Urban and shared mobility solutions are changing the way we move on a day-to-day basis. Access and usage of these solutions are simplified with Mobility as a Service offerings (MaaS). In the last years, new forms of mobility have emerged. From (pooled) e-hailing to car/ride sharing to urban air mobility (UAM).
We help our clients (further) develop new and existing transport modes and improve their offerings. Using our cross-industry expertise, we drive the change to less congestion and lower emissions.
MaaS platforms
We help our clients establish and further develop MaaS platforms and offerings in addition to addressing challenges such as insufficient profitability. For instance, we helped a client assess the MaaS revenue potential and synergies to the EV charging infrastructure business, which led to a shift in strategic ambitions and a reprioritization of the product road map.
Intermodal mobility
We help clients offering intermodal mobility to develop and improve their offering. One engagement involved a holistic strategy review for a client with concrete recommendations to scale the business within and beyond micromobility, with a market potential exceeding €1 billion.
Shared mobility providers across new forms of mobility
We help shared mobility providers in different verticals scale their business, identify new growth potential, shape their portfolio, and increase profitability. For instance, we supported a carsharing operator on preparing its investor presentation, including detailed market sizing and business case assessment.
Mobility budget
The importance of mobility budget concepts is growing in many countries. We help providers of mobility budget solutions shape their mobility offerings and solution handling, e.g., HR and finance tool integration, to meet the needs of employees and employers. For a client in the new mobility space, we assessed portfolio expansion opportunities and identified a multimillion-dollar opportunity in value-added services like mobility budget.
Fleet management software/hardware
To enable our clients to offer best-in-class fleet management solutions across shared mobility verticals, we help them leverage software solution functionality and scale their business. For a client in the distribution industry, we developed an electrification and charging strategy and achieved 20% reduction in total cost of ownership relative to internal assessment.
