Boris is a partner in McKinsey’s Helsinki office and leads the firm’s private equity work in Finland and is primarily affiliated with the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice. He helps clients navigate large-scale M&A transactions, due diligence topics, and holistic transformational projects, as well as strategy development. Since joining the firm in 2014, Boris has worked with clients in over 20 industries in Europe, the United States, and Asia.

Recent examples of his client work include the following:

  • leading a large-scale international M&A and carve-out process in the tech, media, and telecommunications sector
  • heading the European market entry strategy and M&A screening for an international digital infrastructure player in the tech, media, and telecommunications sector
  • leading large-scale transformation program delivering hundreds of millions of EBIT and continuous feedback improvement (cost and net working capital focus) in the tech, media, and telecommunications sector
  • overseeing a new five-year strategy development
  • managing new business building and strategy development in the tech, media, and telecommunications sector
  • leading approximately 50 buy-side and sell-side due diligence projects in the last years

Prior to joining McKinsey, Boris worked in corporate finance and investment banking in Finland. He is a long-term alpine skiing enthusiast. Boris spends his free time with his family, practicing endurance sports and enjoying the slopes.
